Dr. James is an experienced primary health care nurse who completed her mixed-methods Doctoral project exploring lifestyle risk factor communication at the University of Wollongong in 2020. For her candidature, she was awardedAustralian Government Research Training Program ScholarshipNTEU Joan Hardy Scholarship to explore lifestyle risk communication between nurses and consumers in general practice. She currently works as a Research Fellow and Project Manager with Monash at the Department of General Practice on the Australian Contraception and Abortion Primary Care Practitioner Support Network Project. Her other interests include women's health, communication, preventive care, chronic disease management, and nursing roles in primary health care.
